Man dies in romp with sex worker in Aba.

ABA — A man, identified as Ogadinma Chukwu, has lost his life while having sex with a commercial sex worker at a popular brothel located on St. Michael’s Road, Aba, Abia State.

Sources said the deceased, whom they alleged to be a regular visitor to the brothel, died while romping the prostitute.

It was gathered that immediately Chukwu slumped and died, the prostitute contacted her colleagues and the manager of the brothel who moved his corpse to a sanitary lane at the back of the brothel.

As a result of the development, shop owners around the area quickly closed business for fear of police arrest.

Those who spoke anonymously to our reporter disclosed that some staff of the brothel at about 5 p.m. brought out the corpse through their back door, dropped it at the sanitary lane and disappeared.

When our correspondent visited the area, the brothel was deserted as people were gathering at the adjoining St. Michael’s Road by York Street junction and Hospital Road.

A cross section of sympathizers said the deceased might have died of a cardiac arrest or exhaustion as white foam gushed out of his mouth.

Policemen from the Aba Central Police Station, who conducted a search at the scene, recovered an ATM card, a cheque book, cash of over N200,000 and a Man O’ War Association of Nigeria identity card, bearing the name, Ogadinma Chukwu.

Contacted, the Commander, Man O’ War Association, Aba, Uche Egbuziem, identified Ogadinma Chukwu as a former member of the association, stressing that the deceased and some other members of the group still use their old identity cards.

Abia Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, ASP Geoffrey Ogbonna, could not be reached for comments at press time, but a senior police officer said the corpse had been deposited in a mortuary.

He said an autopsy would be conducted to determine the cause of the man’s death.

What i expect of my successor by Gov.Fashola.

Governor Babatunde Fashola, has said he is interested in who succeeds him next year, towards advancing the cause of the state.
When asked on who he prefers to succeed him, Fashola said: “I prefer a successor that would surpass my achievements in office and advance the cause of Lagos State.”
The governor who said this during an interactive session with State House Correspondents, at the State House Marina, stressed that he was concerned about who would be the next governor of the state.
Fashola, also added a caveat that he was not praying to be the best governor the state would ever produce but expected his successor to carry on the transformation agenda without further delay.
He said:  “In terms of policy sustainability, we are fortunate that over the years, the government of Lagos state is becoming more institutionalized therefore it is becoming easier for every successor to improve on what his predecessor has done.
“I am not worried about the person who will succeed me, but I am concerned because I will be involved. I really hope that the person who will take over after me will be a lot better than me.
“I hope that the person can do in four years what it has taken us eight years to do. That I know will be beneficial to all of us. My interest in the next election is Lagos. Who will be the best to guide and advance the course and interest of Lagos.”
Harping on steps his government had taken in the area of transportation in the state, he said  the government is currently proffering solutions  in different areas , saying there was nowhere in the world where regional government had embarked on such massive transportation works his government had embarked on.
Fashola said: “I don’t know any state in the world that is building roads like the 60kilometre Lagos- Badagry expressway;  50kilometre  Lekki-Epe expressway; 20 kilometre Mile12-Ikorodu road; a light rail train of 27 kilometres; four major jetties and terminals and also partnering to install a cable car system – all at the same time.
“Only national governments do what we are doing. That is what is emboldening us to build more homes in Ikorodu, more homes in Agbowa, in Epe and Badagry because we know that by the time they are completed, any journey from there to the city center will be a maximum of 45 minutes to one hour.”

Embattled actress, Yetunde Akilapa, who was caught with a bunch of keys, said to be tools used in breaking into people’s homes, is said to have returned from a spiritual home, where she went for her rehabilitation.

Yetunde claimed that her ‘kleptomaniac’ habit was not natural, saying she needed spiritual cleansing to regain her normal life. She said she is now ready to continue with acting.

In her words: “I am not quitting again. God has finally shamed my critics and enemies. It’s true I have not been around for two weeks. I was going through marathon fast and prayers.

“Now, I am happy that the battle is over. As I speak to you, I'm on a movie location with some of my colleagues. They are all happy that I am back. I pray that any weapon fashioned against me again shall never prosper,” the actress said, happily.

A 30-year-old security man named Elvis Chris has been charged to an Ebuta Meta Magistrate Court for allegedly killing his 4-year-old son. The man pierced the little boys lips in order that he might padlock his mouth so that he would not be able to cry out while he beat him to death and burned his body with a hot pressing iron in their home. He claimed that the little boy named Goldrich was evil and responsible for his ill-fortune. He has been remanded in prison by the court.
Seriously, what is this world turning into? Children are no longer safe even in their own homes. Is Mr Elvis going to claim temporary insanity to excuse his horrible act or what?
