Akon’s Electric plan for Africa.
Akon’s backing an initiative to provide electricity to
African households.
He’s teamed up with the global organization Give1 Project
and ADS Global Corporation to create Akon lighting Africa.
While two-thirds of the population of sub-Saharan African
are without electricity, Akon’s project aims to provide energy to a million
homes before the end of this year.
